JCC has sponsored refugees from Bosnia, Sudan (the "Lost Boys") and Somalia. Right now, we are in partnership with the Interreligious Council and several local churches in sponsoring a family of 13 from Somalia ("Bantu" Somalians). As one might imagine, housing is a challenge for any family of 13, let alone a family on a very tight budget. We are always looking for donations of money and household items.

Below are pictures of the Somalian refugees we are sponsoring at the Airport and also at the Baby Shower we held for them.
